Our Mission

As a  synagogue, we take an egalitarian approach with both men and women participating in
all spheres of Jewish communal life.

Known as the Haimische Synagogue, we strive to make all people welcome in a warm and friendly environment.

We pursue a variety of expressions of  Judaism and respect Jewish tradition.

Our services are in Hebrew with some English.

We encourage dialogue with and between the Jewish community and the community in general.

Beit Knesset Shalom is committed to the concept of Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World). 
                                           We practice Ethical Kashrut at all our shul catered functions.
