Beit Knesset Shalom Interfaith and Intercultural Platform

Interfaith BKS aims to develop understanding and cooperative relationships with people accross differing cultures and religions. We aim to achieve this by offering synagogue tours for schools and other interest groups and by providing speakers dealing with the topic of traditional non-orthodox Judaism as practiced in our synagogue. Intercultural BKS has a pool of very talented musicians and actors. We have a Jewish Folkloric Dance Group, A Choir Z'miryah Jewish Chorshul (see choir tab in menu) and a wonderful klezmer band made up of students from The Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
